Winelands Golf Lodges

Winelands Golf Lodges lies at the heart of the prestigious De Zalze* Winelands Golf Estate just 3km outside Stellenbosch. These brand-new, self-catering lodges combine wonderfully with the old-world charm of South Africa’s second oldest town offering guests good times, grand wines and great golf.

It was the French Huguenots, following the original Dutch settlers, who brought viticulture and winemaking skills to the area. Which is why, today, Stellenbosch and its surrounds are synonymous with wine country. And it’s here, a mere 45 minutes’ drive from Cape Town that you’ll find the luxurious Winelands Golf Lodges.

These lavishly furnished lodges overlook the 10th fairway and enjoy spectacular views across the golf course to the Overberg Mountains beyond. A choice of Lodges is available (from one to four bedrooms) each immaculately appointed well above the usual hospitality standards.

Reception is open from 7am - 7pm and there is 24/7 access-controlled security. All of which helps to ensure the comfort and safety of residents and guests. A superb 18-hole golf course, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields adds to the appeal, making this a veritable golfers’ paradise.

* The name De Zalze derives from three of the original wine-producing farms of the area, namely Groote Zalze, Kleine Zalze and De Vleie. Historical buildings on the Estate, including a manor house and precinct, date all the way back to 1838
